FFXIV ARR on PS3

So recently my gaming laptop bonked out and it'll be a while before I can get a new one.
Unfortunately i had also just started ARR.
So i'm planning on grabbing it on the ps3 and was wondering if anyone plays on that system and would be willing to hook up with a noob.

I believe that FF14 has crossplay, so those on the PS3 can hang with those on PC.
