Thread: "Kickass" Music

    Default "Kickass" Music

Now, I'm not talking about music that has a kickass mix or that has kickass writing/performing/etc.

I mean music that conveys the feeling of fighting, that "one flash of lightning" thing.

    And...

    And...

    And...

    You get the idea.

This is my favorite kind of music. From the time I was 5, I kept asking my dad to play "fast songs," and he eventually made me my first mixtape, "Johnny's Tape of Fast Songs."

Do you have a favorite song to pump your fist to?

Would be my fighting song! I mean the first part says "let's get ready to rumble" then says "Fight! Fight! Fight!" It's awesome when a entire stadium is chanting right with it though.

smurfing awesome female boxers knocking the trout out of eachother in the music video. I can only ever associate this song with pumping myself up since seeing it.

Though I wish they had represented actual female boxers instead of models who for some unknown reason decided to wear their hair down wear piercings to a boxing match

If you ever wondered whether banjos could be badass and get you in the mood for some asskicking, this track by Basil Poledouris gives you one heck of a punch in the gut regarding the subject:

No list of kickass is complete without this riot (pun intended) of a song by Crashdïet which is all about fighting spirit:

How I met your mother, Donald Duck's parents style! Love at first temper tantrum!

Captain Jack Harkness' theme. It's literally the sound of one man quickly defeating many foes.

It's a cover of an Arthur Lee song, but I like Alice Cooper's version more.

Also, there's the apply named "Fight" by the Cure.
