I also hate the fact that she wore this outfit in Kingdom Hearts II instead of a brand new outfit. I hope she gets a brand new outfit in Kingdom Hearts III.

They all had clothes based on their FF outfits or, at most, a stylised version of their FF outfit, to have them fit in with the aesthetic of Kingdom Hearts. So no, none of them really got "brand new" outfits.
Cloud's outfit in KH1 seems pretty different to me, but he was the only one that comes close and that didn't last.

Again, why? No other Final Fantasy characters got a brand new outfit, and they used her AC outfit as a base to fit the fact that they used Cloud's AC outfit as a base.
