I agree with Pike that EoFF actually has a very broad spread of opinions regarding FF games. You can point to pretty much any main FF and most of the side games and you'll find diehard fans. I think maybe III is the only one that doesn't have people saying it's their favorite? But I'm not confident in such a declaration.
I can think of one member who says III is their favourite but I dunno more than that
