Glad you made it to the end, Pumpkin!The game can get a bit tedious, I wholeheartedly agree, but for me, the writing, the characters and the themes all make up for it. This is one of my favorite games of all time, and I think the PSP version is the definitive version of it

Vert: The CPU representing the Xbox consoles, she's a mixture of proper lady and neckbeard gamer. She uses a spear/lance type of weapon.
Lid: A serious woman and master of traps, she'll fumble her words from time to time. She represents Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series and she uses a knife in battle.
Poona: She is a sweet girl who talks veeerryyyy sloooowwwlyy. She is thought to be based on the Opoona game. She uses a bon bon in battle and can heal and use offensive magic.
Little Rain:She is a sweet, kind girl who does what's best for others at the expense of herself. But beware her wrath if she finds out you took advantage of those qualities. It tends to rain when she's around. She's based on Blazing Soul's character Little Snow.
Neptune: The CPU representing Sega, she's very goofy and lazy and talks with some horribly outdated slang. She uses swords in battle.
Moru: Not the brightest girl in the world, but a skilled warrior with an upbeat attitude. She fights with a giant mace or club. She represents the Monster Hunter franchise.
Saori: A pure-hearted maiden with a serious crush on The Secretary, she is very love focused. She uses letters in battle and represents the dating sim genre.
Tsunemi: An idol girl who cares about others and has a kind heart. She's a versatile character and uses music as her weapon. She is based on the idol character Hatsune Miku
Estelle: A bright, cheery girl who thinks herself a hero and wants everything to be legendary. She attacks with a sword and represents the main character from Dragon Quest III.
Lee-Fi: A passionate woman who loves to fight and battle it out. She fights with her fist and has no jump limit. She represents Chun-Li from the Street Fighter Series.
Noire: The protagonist of the game and CPU representing the PlayStation consoles. She's very hard working and generally series and hides her feelings, but she very much wants friends and takes care of the ones she has. She fights with a sword.
Generia G: A military woman with a knack for machines and a good work ethic. She uses a connaon in battle and is based on the SD Gundam G Generation series.
Wyn: A tomboy who is very very passionate about her soccer and knows and cares little about anything else. She uses a soccer ball in battle and represents sports/soccer games.
Lady Wac: Lady Wac is a powerful woman, but has a sore spot about her age, being one of the oldest generals in Gamarket. She represents the Ms. Pac Man games.
Resta: A seemingly sweet girl with a bit of an attitude and an early game healer. She's a bit too interested in the baby making process. She uses a staff in battle and is based off of the High Elf characters in the Agarest War series.
Ein Al: She thinks of herself as a hero and often speaks in criptic, overly complex speech patterns but will slip up and speak normally from time to time. She uses swords in battle and represents the Final Fantasy series.
Ryuka: A woman who likes to tease and is very overtly friendly and sociable. She uses bottles as a weapon and represents the Yakuza franchise.
Blanc: A CPU representing the Nintendo consoles. She's very soft spoken and quiet until she gets angry and her temper flies out of control. She uses hammers as a weapon.
Blossom Aisen: A theatrical woman with a lot of poise and grace. She fights with a rapier and represents the Sakura Wars franchise.
Ai Masujima: A wannabe idol with a bit of a jealous streak and a mischievous side. She attacks with a microphone and her voice and represents the idol master franchise.
Sango: A very arrogant and conceited woman and a sore loser, she can be very selfish and haughty. She represents the Dynasty Warrior games.
Vio: A woman who seems very trigger happy and kind of arrogant and cocky. She uses guns in battle and represents the Resident Evil series.















Pascal: A mysterious, upbeat, and intelligent girl who latches on to Sophie pretty quickly. She's always happy and friendly, but seems to have trouble reading the mood of the room. She's very good with machines and technology. In battle she uses a staff/gun type of weapon and is great at offensive magics.
Cheria: Cheria is a childhood friend of Asbel who grew up ill. She can be bossy but she cares very much for everyone and wants to take care of them. She uses throwing daggers in battle and is a strong healer.
Sophie: A mysterious girl found by Asbel one day, she can't remember anything about her past. She likes flowers and she imitates a lot of things and is generally naive about the world. She cares about her friends more than anything. She fights with her fists and has a good range of attack skills as well as some healing and buffs.
Malik: Asbel's trainer and superior, he's a mysterious man who seems gruff and serious at first but actually has a good sense of humour and a good head on his shoulders. He uses a weapon called a Bladerang, which is a combination of a boomerang and a blade, and also has a number of offensive spells.
Asbel: The protagonist of our story. He was a rambunctious and misbehaving child who grew up and trained to become a knight to protect those important to him. He tries to think of others first and does what he can to save everyone. He uses a sword in battle.
Hubert: Asbel's younger brother. As a child he is very shy and quiet, but he grows up very successful and hard working. He's not very trusting and sometimes has a short temper and he has no qualms about telling people the truth even if it's hard for them to hear. He uses a dualblade type of weapon and has a good variety of skills.
Richard: Prince who has to worry about assassinations and politics in his family, he makes good friends with Asbel as children. When he's older he seems to have some issues that has Asbel greatly concerned and suffers from strong mood swings. He uses rapiers in battle.





Honoka: DLC Character. She is a young mysterious girl with odd powers. She is Japanese and uses a combination of other characters' fighting styles as well as some unique moves, which she calls Honoka Fu.
Kokoro: The half sister of Helena. She is Japanese and uses Ba Ji Quan.
Hitomi: A skilled martial artist who wants to prove herself. She is german and uses Karate.
Marie Rose: DLC Character. She is the servant of Helena. She is Swedish and uses the Systema fighting style.
Kasumi: A ninja who became the series protagonist. She is Japanese and uses Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu.
Phase 4: She is a clone of Kasumi. She uses Modified Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu.
Ayane: A ninja and half sister of Kasumi. She is Japanese and used Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu.
Leifang: A college student and prodigee of Tai Chi. She is Chinese and uses Tai Chi.
Eliot: A young man on a martial arts journey. He is British and uses Xing Yi Quan.
Rig: A man who works on an oil rig and doesn't know much about himself. He is Canadian and uses Taekwondo
Helena: An Opera Singer and new leader of DOATEC. She is French and uses Pi Gua Quan
Pai: A guest character from Virtua Fighter. She is Chinese and uses Mi Zong Yi.
Christie: A professional assassin. She is British and uses She Quan martial arts.
Hayabusa: The protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden series, he is Japanese and uses the Hayabusa Ninjutsu fighting style.
Momiji: She is from the Ninja Gaidan series. She is Japanese and uses Hayabusa Akijutsu.
Sarah: A guest character from Virtua Fighter. She is American and uses Mixed Martial Arts.
Jacky: A guest character from Virtua Fighter. He is American and uses Jeet Kun Do.
Alpha-152: She is a clone of Kasumi and uses Modified Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu fighting style.
Jann Lee: He wants to become the greatest fighter of all time. He is Chinese and uses Jeet Kun Do.
Gen Fu: A book store owner and Martial Arts Master. He is Chinese and uses Xinyi Liuhe Quan.

Brad Wong: A drunk martial arts master. He is Chinese and uses Zui Quan.

Zack: He wants fame and money and has a very outgoing personality. He is American and uses Muay Thai.
Rachel: A character from Ninja Gaiden. She uses Counter Fiend Combat.
Leon: He wants to prove he's the strongest fighter in the world. He is Italian and uses Close Quarter Combat.
Mila: A young martial artist who works at a diner. She is Spanish and uses Mixed Martial Arts.
La Mariposa/Lisa: A former scientist and Luchadora. She is American and uses Lucha Libre fighting style.
Nyotengu: DLC Character. A female Tengu who uses the Tengu-Do fighting style.
Bayman: A former assassin and current mercenary. He is Russian and uses Sambo Martial Arts.
Akira: A guest character from Virtua Fighter. He is Japanese and uses Ba Ji Quan.
Tina: A pro-wrestler. She has a dream of becoming famous. She is American and uses Pro-Wrestling.
Bass: A famous pro-wrestler. He is American and uses Pro-Wrestling.
Raidou: DLC Character. He is Japanese and uses Modified Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu.
