Wow, this was actually really difficult to decide. I went with Clash partly because the association with Gilgamesh makes it more enjoyable to me than J-E-N-O-V-A. But they're both damn good alternative boss battle themes.
As much as I do love Gilgamesh, for me, J-E-N-O-V-A is one of those songs that the second it hits, you really hear it, it makes itself known and memorable from that second. Superb piece.

No contest for me. As good as Clash on the Big Bridge is JENOVA is one of my go to tracks when I need to pump myself up. Also with excellent renditions by the Black Mages and on the Advent Children soundtrack.
