I don't believe in reading
I have read them up to a certain distance. Some of the things I've read haven't happened yet, some of the things I've seen I've yet to read about. I'm pretty happy at this point to continue with the TV series and then read another chunk when it's over so I'm once again able to enjoy surprises in both the TV series and the books.

Yes, but it's now annoying that I invested a lot of time in them and it will probably be another 20 million years before they're finished.
I gave in and started watching the shows. The books are just too slow for me. I will read them but who knows when.
