Gaming Ironies

What are some of your gaming ironies? I don't mean games you played where something ironic happens, I mean something ironic with your relationship with games. I'll use myself as an example:

I grew up on the Sega Genesis. It's my favorite console ever and I used to play it ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time as a kid.

Sonic is Sega's flagship and is to Sega what Mario is to Nintendo.

The only Sonic game I played on the Genesis was Sonic 3 and that was it. I wouldn't play any of the other Sonic games until long after Sega stopped making consoles. I spent more time on other games.

I own 4 zelda games and haven't finished any of them

i expect this number to grow to 5 when the wiiu one is released

I have never understood the meaning of the word irony. No-one yet has been able to explain it to me properly.

In a lot of games, there are Iron Swords, Iron Helms and other such things made of iron, or things that are similar to iron. Irony.

I hate golf in real life, but I can't get enough of golf games.

I don't much care about fashion (a bit, but not much), I hate clothes shopping, and I can barely be bothered to dress myself everyday

But man do I love dress up games
