I'll admit I am boring. Just give me a nice air conditioner and let me pitch in on destroying the planet.
Swimming indoors!
Swimming outdoors!
Water gun fight!
Water balloon fight!
Stay inside with the AC on!
Have Ice Cream (or similar treat)!
I refuse to answer this poll.
It doesn't matter as long as I'm outside doing something that involves liquids!

I voted for the AC option but in England practically all homes don't have AC. The best way for me to cool off during summer is to just not go outside.
And moan. Moaning helps.
Where's the option for hiding inside, drawing the curtains and quietly cursing that the outside world exists?
I find it difficult to answer this question since heat rarely happens in Scotland. If I am abroad and need to cool down (shockingly, the only time that I experience such warmth that I need to try to cool down) - a nice swim in the local pool and an ice cold glass of beverage.
Iiiiiiice cream! Also, just went to the pool for the first time in well over a decade and I enjoyed it greatly, except for the bratty kids.
I go to the river with a six pack of umm... Soda and float down it for a few miles with friends. Jumping in if you get to hot, so I voted swimming outside.
AC always, but that's because I've had one too many brushes with heatstroke to feel comfortable staying outside for long periods of time. Why does Canada have deserts anyway? And why do I live in one?
Seal the doors, close the curtains and crank up the heat pump on its coldest setting. On the hottest summer days, the outside world can get stuffed,
Now that its mid-winter in these parts, the procedure is much the same, except with the heat pump dispensing heat for a change.

I have a hoodie on right now. Long Live Vermont.
