Tokyo Fashion Week was buzzing this week with the emergence of four of the best upcoming designers in the fashion world. Our fashion correspondent Terrence Fandango managed to catch up with the designers immediately after the show.
TF: "Well, what an... interesting show that was. I have with me the ever-exotic Night Fury. And I have to say, she is looking pretty spectacular in a bikini, angel wings and a balaclava."
Night Fury: "Phankoo"
TF: "Your welcome. Did you enjoy your first time at Tokyo Fashion Week?"
Night Fury: "Moz oh kay"
TF: "I'm not an expert, but shouldn't balaclavas have eye and mouth holes? You know so you can talk... and see."
Night Fury: "Fumpon worvoo umbovaa!!!"
TF: "I'm sorry, I meant no offen..."
Night Fury storms off and walks straight into a coat rack
TF: "OK, thanks Night Fury. Next up we have Pheesh whose interview we can't televise due to his insistence on appearing naked. So Pheesh, any reason why you have your penis on show?"
Pheesh: "I find clothes a distraction from the pursuit of spiritual and intellectual fulfilment."
TF: "That's weird. I find spiritual and intellectual fulfilment a distraction from the pursuit of clothes. Aren't you a designer?"
Pheesh: "I have been cursed with the gift of creating beautiful clothes. I hate fashion and I'm rebelling."
TF: "OK. So..."
Pheesh: "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!! NO-ONE DOES!!"
Pheesh sits down on the floor and starts playing with his testicles
Pheesh: *whispers softly to them* "You two have always been there for me. I love you both so much..."
TF: "Erm, right. Next up we have Shiny and finally someone who looks normal. Love your suit! Your first appearance here, did you have a good time?"
Shiny: "I should warn you now, I answer in rhyme!"
TF: "How irritating. I must say, I really enjoyed your nightwear range."
Shiny: "The way you talk is a little bit strange!"
TF: "Right. I noticed your models were able to make the most of the space."
Shiny: "Do you know what's ugly? Your face. HA!"
TF: *sigh* "Your designs seem to favour a lot of red and orange."
Shiny: "Orange... yeah. I... erm... F*** you."
Shiny storms off
TF: "Not doing very well here, are we? I'm sure that Shorty here will be able to..."
Shorty: "LEMONS!!"
TF: "I'm sorry?"
Shorty: "HAHAHA!!!! LEMONS! LEMONS! LEMONS!"
TF: "Quite. Your yellow dress is lovely. Did you take your inspiration from..."
Shorty: "LEEEEEMMMMMOOOOONNNNNSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
TF: "...lemons then, I presume."
Shorty opens her bag and runs around throwing lemons at random models.
TF: "Well, after an eventful Tokyo Fashion Week, only one question remains. Which of these new designers will be most popular with the paying public? Back to you in the studio."
