Art is important. It's a great way to express ourselves and to share these things with others in hopes of getting them to feel or see what we feel or see. Some art is an expression of oneself, some art is there to show something we have in our heads that we want the world to see, and some art is just a celebration of beauty. But no matter what it's about, art has always been an important part of people. Whether through natural talent, hard work, or a combination of both, these people have the wonderful gift of art. And that's what this award is to celebrate. So congrats to the winner and congrats to all of the nominees for being so wonderfully artistic that we think of them when we see this award!
