Sorry, I kinda wanted to commemorate my 9,000th post on this site, instead of using it on commenting on my favourite breakfast cereal, or something.

If you were to look at your post count on this forum, what emotions would you have? Would you be happy, or more concerned about possible evidence of internet addiction?

Do you feel you've made good use of your posts, or would you be embarrassed to look at the stuff you've written over the years?

Discuss all things post-y, I guess.

Some times I ponder what I'm doing with my life when I have more posts than some people who have been here since the early 00s, but then I get over that and post more. Some good quality posts, and some just straight up spam and one ups because I need the extra lives.

It's dropped to an average of 2.82 per day, but that's still an impressive average considering how many years it's been.

Considering that there was a stretch of like 3-4 years where I was super inactive my post count probably says I'm a gigantic nerd.

I don't even know what mine is, but I think it's above 20k now. It's debatable whether that or my join date is more horrifying.

I posted a lot of the same things 10-15 years ago that I would still post (as a friend of mine says, I was a grumpy old man right out of the womb), so I don't mind seeing older posts.

I have somewhere around 8000 which I think is a healthy amount.

Recently One of my older threads was repped where I made a series of clever images and jokes and I noticed I had a tendency to over explain my jokes when I was younger. It made me cringe and I was half tempted to edit the whole thread and wipe my shame out of existence but I let it be.
