I don't mean to be a poo, but perhaps some of this is best addressed in more private venues. I am very sorry if people's feelings were hurt. That always sucks for everyone. At the same time, we are all responsible for our own feelings, including speaking up about them, but turning things in to a big bummer just results in even more hurt feelings. While these awards are far from perfect, let's all try to appreciate the spirit and celebrate for those who are excited and who are getting acknowledgement and acceptance for their presence here, and maybe communicate our feelings more level-headedly in private so they can be properly resolved.

Aw shoot, I fell asleep and missed a big honking pile o' Ciddies! (or maybe I was playing Fallout 4...?) Looks like a top notch set of awards so far. I know the P-dog sweep meme and all that but just want to say it was a sincere and nice surprise to win Most Helpful - that is really awesome of you guys. I never usually get nominated for that, much less win. Thank you!

Also super pleased for Rin Heartilly and maybee picking up some wins! There've also been some top speeches from the likes of Shaibana and Bubba too so I enjoyed reading the thread.

On Most Missed, look, we're always different people. Always. What we need out of friends is forever changing. What we need out of a Final Fantasy forum is always changing too. When I joined I was 15 and I just wanted to know how to get the black chocobo in FFV and whoop Dark Bahamut in FFX and those needs long passed. It's okay, it's all okay. Most Missed is a good way to remember the laughs or times our thoughts were provoked or when we thought somebody was likely to get hit by a bus.

Thank you for helping me try to bring down the Cid's Knights when I was 17, or teaming up to trick Nigerian email scammers when I was 20. Thanks for playing Halo for hours with me when I was 23 and shout out to you for having my back when I was 26. Those were the god damn days. You gotta keep on moving though, 'cause while I'll always love those memories, there's always new members, new people, new friends. You. You right there. What stupid trout are we getting up to tomorrow?
