Actually the image I used for roll is probably a bad representation because you really have to feel the texture of the roll, but if you've ever had a Warburtons roll then you'll know it's very different from the kind of roll one traditionally throws bacon and egg into. Morning rolls tend to have more, uh... air? I guess? While a regular roll is much more filling due to being quite dense.

I also feel as if there should be a distinction between soft and hard cookies. If only because soft cookies are far more superior to the hardened variety and to prevent me from confusing the two and ruining my day.
I tend to refer to what you call 'hard cookies' as 'biscuits'. If it's not soft, it's not a cookie, dammit. Or at least, it's an overcooked cookie.
