There's egg and there's bread. Makes more sense as a name than French toast/bread (whichever one of those it is, I don't know). Unless you grind Frenchmen into a powder and sprinkle it on your eggy bread, in which case that name is totally legit. You psycho.

That's just calling it its attributes mixed with bread. Like: That's eggy bread! (french toast) and that's Really sweet bread (cake) and that's really flat bread (tortilla)

There's egg and there's bread. Seems pretty straightforward that it should be called eggy bread.

By your standards, we should call hamburgers "meaty slab sandwich." No.
