A bit of advice....

So you've got a lot of items now, huh?

All of them can only be used once.... So how do you decide just who gets to use each item? How to decide what to save?


I'm just asking you these questions so that later you won't squabble over the last of your items....

Hmm... well it would be good to know what kind of matchups await us, or whether or not we'll even know them in advance.

In general I'm a big fan of playing to one's strengths, so those good in a particular stat should get the + on that stat.

Now why would I, Ultimecia, ever ever want a bunch of daring Heroes to ever turn on each other?

Rinoa will be invaluable as our all around character. Cloud is pretty beefy in strength, and Yuna is a good magic user. Firion can 'off-tank' with his ability, but he gears slightly towards strength.

This is a team effort. All items should be available to all as long as they can justify bringing it along with them. Bartering with your own team wouldn't work, I think.

I would have to agree with Formy, given that I will help out wherever I can but I will also be in transit or posting from a phone, because I might be abroad or something going to some wedding maybe, let's keep it as the team and make the decisions for the items as and when.

So we have these items today. Spoiler tags on recommendations for each:

DAY 1 SPOILS

STR+ - This should go to Lightning - My ability reduces my stats in strength. As such I will need more strength to effectively use this
MAG+ - This should go to Ashe - Ashe's ability reduces her stats in magic and makes her powerful weak. A boost to this will reduce incoming attacks
SPD+ This should go to Yuna With the lowest overall speed stat (except Lightning) this will boost her up

Hi-Potion This should go to Rinoa - Unpredictable fights could use for heals

Chocobo Feather - consumable and adds 40 to your SPD stat This should got to Zack - The haste ability will allow his speed to go to 120 and then attack.
