yeah the next episode had them translated. looks like they're from the same source though. weird.
EDIT:
haha this scene of Edgeworth speeding up to the courtroom in his car and Phoenix riding his bike, it's kind of like a courtroom version of Rocky and Apollo

"What are you doing here Phoenix Wright?"
"........OBJECTION!"
"wtf man"
I watched it, and it actually bugged the crap out of me that his name was not Phoenix Wright. It was incredibly subpar, for an anime.
And that ends the first game. Goddamnit it had such a good streak going but that 12th episode was a pretty big disappointment for me. Not necessarily the plot-related things they changed, but it felt like the episode had no flow to it. Like it was just randomly going from one plot point to the next with flimsy progression and I'm especially salty that it completely lost that oppressive atmosphere of how Phoenix is trying to disprove something that's as good as an established fact by going through the incredibly few pieces of evidence he has and barely managing to connect all the dots. On the contrary, Phoenix was almost constantly on the offense in the anime. Not to mention Edgeworth's characterization is pretty much completely changed which I guess was primarily alienating because I'm used to Game!Edgeworth.
Hopefully they'll do 2-4 justice. If not... well, it's another subpar VN adaptation to throw onto the pile.
Throw that 16 year old girl out of this courtroom, we need every cop in the city to handle this sass!

It was fine. I would not recommend to anyone unless they are wanting to consume all AA stuff. It wasn't a great adaptation, it wasn't a fantastic anime with anything to write home about. But it was fine.
