So you get to look at the 'you' in an alternate universe. What are you like there? What is different about your life and the way you are?

Alternate universe - my parents never divorced when I was younger, and they never had another child. This means not only did I miss out on my full sister, but my half sister too.

They did however argue and this made me grow up really bitter and resentful of relationships. I didn't do art, I didn't excel in being creative but I did excel in science and computing. As soon as I could I moved out to university and studied forensic science and then took a graduate programme in London at a big science facility as a researcher and analyst.

I never played video games, never joined eoff, and never met a Pheesh! I live alone in a nice flat in the city, I'm pretty much a lone wolf and don't socialise much and prefer to stay in and do more work things. I'm very successful in my field. I don't talk to my family much though. Despite having a quiet life, I'm very happy and content - I have big dreams for my future.

My mum and Dad stayed together and were very much in love, however they both struggled finding work and as a result we grew up very poor. This made me resent my parents relationship and as a result I became belligerent to women in general. Through primary school I was very athletic and popular, but had no interest in any artistic subjects such as music. I also would get into a large amount of physical fights on the playground which resulted in a few suspensions.

In High School I had numerous girlfriends, many of whom I cheated on, but still I remained one of the more popular boys in school. I became the best player on my local club's under 16's football team and decided I wanted to make it as a professional sports player. I stopped paying attention to my school work and was only interested in attending house parties on weekends and practicing football the rest of the time. Eventually it paid off and I was scouted by a local youth development team.

I played for a year in the under 20's team before a bad collision left me with both a torn ACL and MCL. While I was able to get surgery and recover most of my mobility, my explosiveness and agility were severely affected and so my chances of making an official team were squashed. With no high school graduation to fall back on I was forced to work a slew of retail jobs, and any profit I made went toward buying drinks and caps on weekends. Unbeknown to me, I've actually got two girls pregnant in my lifetime, but both were never able to get in contact with me again and the pregnancies were terminated. I am currently thinking about getting the necessary certificates to get work up in the mines of northern Western Australia.

Alternate universe me somehow "slipped" into this universe. We met, battled for the right to be "me" in this universe. The fight resulted in one dead, the other suffered severe head trauma. After the resulting trauma, the remaining "me" in this universe is unsure if he originated here, or if his dreams are memories of a world left behind.

My parents were still never together, but my mother was more supportive and encouraging. Instead of pushing me away and fighting with me all the time when I was 18, she talked to me through our issues. I would have never run to my boyfriend at the time, who turned out to be abusive. He'd have never put me down to the point that I didn't think I was good enough for anything, much less college.
I'd have used the scholarships I was given, and probably gotten a degree in psychology or history.
Also, I would have never met my ex-husband, so my children as I know them wouldn't exist, and I don't know that I would have ever found Janner87.

Other than that my life is exactly the same.

It's one of the few movies I actually own on blu-ray because I love it so much. I don't know how to feel right now... this changes everything.

Alternate universe me is a macho man who is an astronaut and does not care about the environment or animals at all. He is super successful and doesn't procrastinate, ever. I hate his guts. But I'm better than him because he can't speak English for trout.

The scary thing for me is had the student loan company not messed up my loan in my final year and incur me spending all my savings, I'd have a done a masters and been a Sociology lecturer. That's pretty mad to think how I'd have coped with that?

Or Blockbuster wouldn't have gone bust (in the UK) and I'd be manager somewhere now.

I wouldn't have been a goth and had all the issues relating to that at school, wouldn't have been so stupid and reckless at college and actually attended all my lessons at University and never once slept in.

At school, I would of been one of the sporty popular girls who always got picked for hockey and played in the team anyway. I would of been stupid though and I'd always be attending parties.
