Final Fantasy X and X-2 Coming to Steam on May 12

Steam dropped a surprise announcement today when Final Fantasy X and X-2 were added to its games section. Square Enix is releasing both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 to Steam on May 12. These PC ports are the HD remasters that were made for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita back in 2013, which were later re-released for PlayStation 4 exactly a year ago. These HD remasters include the content from the International versions of the PS2 games while also providing updated HD models and a remastered soundtrack. The specs for the game are as follows:

Will be interesting to see if the modding community shows any interest. A few graphics mods could work wonders on FFX.

That's a matter of opinion. They did change them, though the only one that's really in your face noticeable without a side-by-side comparison is that of Tidus.



Personally I don't feel they're really any better or worse. They're just different.
