Now with fewer racist crows
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Like all live-action remakes (and remakes in general), I approve of the fact it exists, and will judge it as I see it.
Also the racism of the crows still sails over my head (also, wasn't it mostly stereotype, aside from one of them apparently being called Jim?)
The crows' fly puns, the crazy drunk scene, and the elepeanut machine gun were my favorite parts of the Disney movie, and I don't expect any of them to make it into this
...
I am pretty sure pink elephants on parade made a brief appearance in a trailer!
I doubt they'd drop the most iconic part of the original
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Not sure how I feel about this one. I don't think they're going to keep most of the story, and I don't remember there being kids taking charge in the cartoon. Pretty sure that the creators of the original were pretty high when they made it, and I don't think the trippy feel of that is going to make it into the live action, even with Tim Burton heading it. He is the person that would be able to come closest, but it'll probably be a pass for me, at least in theater.
This could be pretty interesting..
