Such a tough choice. Really love the OG, FFXIV and Black Mages versions the most.
Dislike the XIII-2 and LR versions the most. XIII-2 sounds like it belongs on a episode of Naruto.
Nothing beats the original, but I did enjoy the Dissidia arrangement too.
To be fair, LR's Gilgamesh remix isn't a battle song. It's a funny moment when street musicians in a city play some short covers of FF songs.Originally Posted by maybee

Most versions are good. I love the original and the Black Mage versions. I also love this piano mix:

"Video unavailable"- Dare I say most of these? And I certainly don't know most to compare, but Black Mages as the 20th anniversary one are both quite.
Well, this thread was started in 2017. Maybe someone can find updated videos since I do love this song. One of my top 5 favorite FF songs.
