Here's my prediction, for the final stretch of the game.

You enter Shido's palace and change his heart, but Akechi does something and becomes powerful af and is the true final villain of the game. You can't beat him until Morgana transforms into his true form as Persona--'s final Persona, and is OP and you're finally able to take him down.
