Man, I already loved Papa Bear, but I love him even more now. He’s gruff, but he’s good. Even if Futaba wasn’t involved, I know he’d still cover for us. It’s such growth that at the beginning of the game he was talking about how you’re a problem kid and calling you a pain in the ass, but now he’s harboring you when you’re actually on the wrong side of the law. His character development has been exceptional, especially for a backgroundish character.
