Mobile/cel phones

I don't know if there have been any topics on mobile phones recently. And yes, I do realize that not everyone has one.

These days mobile phones seem like accessories more than "things you use to talk to people". I have a mobile but it's not something I use every day. Mine is Nokia 3200 and I've had it for a year, I think.


The topic is: do you have a mobile (or whatever you call them) phone? If so, which one? If not, which would you like to have?

I have one but I don't have a clue what model it is I think it is a Nokia but the logo has rubbed off. I makes phone calls and sends texts and that is about it. It is pretty old and has survived many a drop from high heights so I am quick happy with it; mainly because it is indestructable which is good considering I have dropped it everywhere, had it ran over and the like.

Motorola V220. I don't get much use out of it since I don't go places that often. I usually just carry it when I'm going to be out for an extended period of time so that my parents can be in touch. I have a moblog and a data plan with it but you'd be suprised how little there is that I ever want to take pictures of. I still feel cool with it, though.

I have one that's probably acient to people who actually use cellphones. My ex gave it to me...just to give it to me. I've never used it or had it activated or anything though.

I've never had a cellphone because really, I've never had the money for it, much less sufficient desire for one. I'll probably end up getting one when I have a job and a life away from my computer.

I have a Nokia 8310, it's quite old, I take it everywhere with me, but I don't have many reasons to use it, I just have it for when I need to.

I have A Sagem something or other. I barely use it. I only have it with me so my parent can keep in touch and I can text them and say. Can you pick me up.

I think the one I have now is an Audiovox. It has a lot of features, but I only use the Voice Mail. It's on all the time because that's the phone the Work usually calls me on.

I have one but I don't know the model.
It's a Cingular.
I don't use it that often, but I carry it around if someone needs to call me in an emergency.

Damn sure I have a cellphone! I'm from Finland (Nokia is from here) and almost every Finn have a cellphone. Most of young kids only text messages to their friends and parents pay their bills... :rolleyes2
I have Nokia 2600 and I don't use it that often but in my family, it's necessary.

Personally, I don't have a mobile phone... I'd like to have one of the Verison Wireless 'IN' Plan phones, mainly because all my friends have one, so contacting them would be a cinch. Not to mention the fun ringtones and nifty backgrounds... :P

I have a Motorola something or other...X284? Wait, no, that can't be it. I don't use it a whole lot.

I think mine is an LG1400 or something like that. It's got a camera and a screen on the outside that shows the picture of who's calling. And it has a Hello Kitty bell charm. :}

I believe one of Dante's Circles of the Inferno is dedicated to cellphone users. I could be wrong, though.
