So there are actually several units making up the whole that was discovered/created/invented, of which we only know three: 7, 8 and 9? Yet there could be countless others.

Yup!![]()
I'm working on the assumption that they are living things, in a sense, due to your use of "come to us".

I wouldn't assume that if I were you. In fact, I would assume quite the opposite.
Not the zodiac coins or a subset of them, or the black mage army.
I'm currently trying to remember the statues in Lindblum, as well as the armour set in the Conference Room place. Been too long since I played it. My logic being that all these things were made in Lindblum, and I think they refer to Cids 7, 8 and 9.
The link to Tetra Master is that Cid 9 is the official Tetra Master bloke.
I'm fairly certain that the Lindblum statues and the Cid equipment are both incorrect, but for the sake of progress that's my guess.
Lindblum, Hilda Garde 1, and Hilda Garde 3 cards?
No, sorry. The answers are not part of Tetra Master per se.
oh god.... this is difficult. could give the answer already?![]()
No xD
So, Cid, the card game Tetra Master as a whole and something that was contrived in Lindblum are all related. This Lindblum made thing has three parts that we know of, and probably more that aren't mentioned in the game. The three we know of are 7, 8 and 9. 7, 8 and 9 are unit that make up a whole. It is not alive in any sense.
The way I read the riddle, the "nimrod that arrived", discovers the units, then heads linearly forth, rather than the actual answer moving forth.
That all right so far?
