When you enter the Card Game Tournament there are three players, but at one point you have to challenge the Champion who is Cid. The three players are not technically living things as they are random names rather than characters :clutchingststraws:. Treno is far from the north. Between you getting from Linblum in-game to Treno is...hm. Gizamaluke. Burmecia. South Gate. Treno. 4 places? I've forgotten some clues and answers you've given, and can't be bothered to go back a page and check. xD
But yeah. I make that four places when following the game linearly (thereby missing Qu's Marsh - a temporarily optional area).
OK. Just went back and realised I'm wrong, but I'll continue for the sake of checking something else off the list, and in the hope that something I say is rightish.
Come to us, in times of leisure - Not related to main plot.
Don't be blinded by the treasure - There is treasure in the surrounding area that could cause you to forget about the answer.
Maximising your potential - Still can't understand it. Unless it refers to your cards levelling up the more you battle.
thrice from seven, quite sequential. 7, 8 and 9 are the known units of a whole. This ruins the Card Game Tournament idea.
Found by the nimrod that arrived
In home of minds which us contrived - Irrelevant Lindblummer left Lindblum
then headed linearly forth
four times, though still far from the north. - Headed forth four times and ended up in a Southern area.
Hints:
The answers are related to Tetra Master and Cid.
That relation will be obvious the second you hear the answer.
The answers are not related to the main plot.
The part about the nimrod relates to Lindblum.
The answers are not abstract in any way.
"Thrice from seven, quite sequential" means 7, 8, 9.
The answers were made in Lindblum, where their maker is also from.
The answers are not living things.
So, my guess is the Card Game Tournament. Related to Cards (too directly to be correct) and Cid. In Treno, which you first arrive at after travelling to four other map areas when following the story linearly (this may be incorrect, I can't remember well). The relation to Linblum is beyond me, other than the fact that you leave Lindblum and head linearly forth four times to end up in Treno. You only ever face three players when you enter the Tournament, but I can't remember more than that, and I doubt they have any relation to 7, 8 or 9. Also, the CGT is related to the main plot, so bugger.
There you go. Some stuff for you to work on, Rantz.
