I don't have a problem for the whole Yrp thing going on haha. But yeah i don't see it. The whole yuna copying rikku thing is cute.. but after your first play through. You want to shove something down her throat. even thought MY favourite character on ff is yuna who cares.

Cause there are people who are fans of one or more Video games and you would be upstead if some one said they did not like the same game like you and said all this stuff.

I think they're just videogame characters, and it doesn't really matter. I found X-2 enjoyable for its battle system; outside of that, I tried not to pay attention too much.

X-2 did have an interesting battle system, but I felt some of it could have been better. That nonwithstanding, the fact that most of the characters (pretty much everyone outside of Paine and a select few others) were extremely irritating. The plot was so asinine, cliche, and utterly stupid that the game was utterly unbearable and the YRP thing was just another annoyance among many.

It doesn't change the fact that I still love that game, or that character, and no one else's opinion should make any difference. That said, I cannot stand YRP. They ruined the game, in my opinion. The gameplay was excellent, but the story and characters were a real letdown, for me.

I watched GameSauce once and they mentioned that Square deliberately redesigned the characters to be more obscene and revealing to further attract the male gamers. What a cheap way of advertising.
I believe that Square also made major changes not to add depth into the story but to further impress the fans which is a mortal sin in the field of art. Art is meant to express, not to impress.

I personally enjoyed this game a lot, and I thought the whole YRP thing was enjoyable, but like it was said it was a little corny.
And, Yuna Braska... Instead of saying: Respect everyone's favourite game and crap, you should be respecting people's opinions. Not everyone likes X-2, and thats that. You can't force people to say that they like it. Any topics I see made by you, I can tell thet its gonna be trying to force people to like YRP/X-2. Maybe you should take a step back and think: Not everyone likes the same stuff. Not everyone's gonna agree with my opinion.
But, if you can't do that... then you'll never have a discussion here without you thinking your opinion is law.

Other people would probably enjoy the game if they took for it for what it is: a piece of fanservice. I enjoyed it and got exactly what I expected after the ending of FFX, so I'm satisfied. It should never be held as a standalone game though.
