Yeah, I dunno if I liked the lake scene or the dragon scenes more. I wish they had the Sphinx in the last scene, since I loved it, but eh. xD Am I weird for finding Fred & George hot in this movie? I didn't see it in the last movie, but I noticed it in this movie. xD

I saw it last night. It was awesome. The SFX were great, I agree. ^__^
The girl who played Cho Chang, I knew her and I used to bully her when we were in school. >=D
...Not really... It's just that, she's Scottish, and she sounded like she was from around Glasgow like me... And nobody would know.
I saw the GoF yesterday afternoon, and it was extremely disappointing. I know the movie can't incorporate everything from the book, but they did a lot of stuff that just wasn't right, such as:
1. Dumbledore is totally out of character. He's really aggressive and angry. The way he reacts to Harry being chosen from the GoF is blown out of proportion.
2. Wormtail is out of character. In the book, he's so scared in the graveyard that he is constantly shaking and wimpering. In fact, in the book he doesn't even have the courage to look Harry in the eyes. In the movie, he is confident and even after he cuts his hand off, it doesn't seem like he is in that much pain.
3. The exclusion of Dobby and Winky from the movie were really bad choices. In the book, Dobby gives Harry the gillyweed and Winky is accused of creating the Dark Mark. In the movie, they introduced Barty Crouch Jr. way too early in the film. And as if he would just casually be walking around the camp grounds considering how he just escaped from Azkaban.
4. The first task scene is absurd. In the book, it's as simple as Harry calling his broom and making a few fancy moves to get around the dragon to grab the egg. In the movie, the dragon chases him practially around the entire continent.

Wow, those really ran through my mind. xD I loved the books, but Dumbledore was horrible in this one.

By showing that Barty Crouch Jr. is a villian early in the movie, it takes away any chance of suspecting Karkaroff is Voldemort's servant at Hogwarts. I don't what was up with Karkaroff entering the room with the GoF late a night. I think they were trying to make us suspect he was the bad guy, but they already screwed that up by showing Crouch Jr.
