This year's Christmas play.
Last year on break, KB and I randomly decided to put on an IRC-based
Christmas play, a presentation of A Christmas Carol (read it here). We decided we wanted to do it again this year, but this time, I'm hoping to be a bit more prepared.
(last time, we came up with the idea around 1:00AM, and didn't get through until nearly 3:00.)
Apparantly, we decided on Rudolf the Rednose Reindeer, since that's what's on the calendar. Now we need to put it together. We need people who would be willing to spend about two hours one night (the exact date and time is something we need to figure out, too.) in chat with us acting out their characters.
BoB also suggested the other day that we do it in voicechat. It'd be easiest to do it using TeamSpeak, which I could set up a server for, but we'd need someone to record it all for us, as well as enough people who would be willing to do it vocally.
Volunteers? Suggestions? Anything?

I volunteer to do my duty for my country.
But if it's oral (hoho) then I can only have a minor role as people might want to sleep, but on the plus side I already have Teamspeak downloaded for undisclosed reasons!

I will take part in the IRC-based one, depending on the date and time.

Yeah, sounds fun. I'll see if I can be there!

I think I'd prefer an IRC-based one, as the only mic I have is crappy at best. But if I'm around I'll definitely take part in the chat one, and maybe in a vocal one if that's what we go with and if someone can persuade me to.

I'll do something anyway.

Most people here are too mic-shy. IRC will have more success.
Let me know when this happens - I'm long overdue for a part.

Okay, so it's decided that we'll do it text based.
Now we need a date and time. I'm not out of school for break until Wednesday, so that day or later would probably be best.
