I've never been scared to PM anyone, but usually my PMs have a reason to them. Except the ones I send to Psychotic or Monkey. They rarely have any good reason.

But like Shlup, never really needed to PM anyone. I guess that's because I have a social life in #eoff and I can get to know people there from here.

No, not really. I actually have entire PM conversations with certain people. When I'm work, I can't get on MSN or Y! so I use PM's for conversations.
