hey im wondering where to get octagon rod, it gets u all the "agas" firaga and stuff, i have a save game thats about to enter ispens castle that has it, but a game thats at memoria and i cant seem to find it at any town, can u help me?

Ur only chance to get the Octagon rod is BE4!!! disc 4. Can't remember for sure but it's either at Esto Gaza or Daguerro.

If you don't see me then you might have just seen me. And in the end you are all left to wonder if I actually existed at all or if i was simply a trick played upon your feeble minds.

You can get the Octagon Rod from both Daguerro and Esto Gaza, but you'll have the first opportunity to get it from the second location.
Keep in mind though, that the Octagon Rod and other equipment of that level won't become available for purchase until the story takes you there (i.e. (SPOILER)when Kuja kidnaps Eiko and you follow him there to rescue her and to retrieve the Hilda Guarde, and not to mention, Hilda herself)
Because I probably spend just as much time doing the Chocobo sidequest as I do on the main story, I figured after I evolved my chocobo a few times I'd try to go to Esto Gaza and get some cool equipment quite a bit before I was supposed to. It didn't work.
i thought you could get it in memoria but maybe that was somewhere else...

I think you can obtain Octagon Rod by doing ChocoGraph side quest
yes it is Both Esto Gaza and Daguerro but beware because in d4 you cant access Esto Gaza and then Dagguerro has better weapons (so you miss out on some skills with Steiner which is unfortunate watch out and make sure you stock up on several of these as they are likely to be use din Synthesis shops and when they are gone then you miss out completely)

u can get the octagon so much earlier than disc for ive had it for quite some time and now i have a better one and im only in disc three i have all of Vivi's magic except the one Thors Hammer or wat ever
