Things I need?

I usually go with my Zidane, Vivi, Eiko and Steiner.

Steiner - Shock is awesome, 9999 damage, his break attack work well, Climhazzard inflict 9000+ damage to all, I don't really care his trances.
Vivi - Doomsday heal me and attack enemies (I equip Shadow-absorbing armor which heal me instead of attacking me, I use it against Ozma, sometimes Ozma absorb it but rarely in my data). Flare is just awesome against one-boss-battle, I equip ReflectX2 which double Vivi's magic when it was reflected and it make Vivi magic goes 9999. Double Black is superb.
Eiko - Being able to learn Curaga and other white magic fast than Garnet, Eiko seriously is better than Garnet, Eiko also specialize in the white magic: Haste, Full-Life, Dispel, Might, Jewel, Holy. Holy can inflict 9999 damage sometimes against Shadow enemy. Moreover, her Curaga heal a lot of my party (I use Curaga on my party in one turn). Haste strengthen Steiner speed, Might increase Zidane's attack, Jewel is like Drain, Dispel remove enemy positive status and Full-Life REVIVES THE MEMBER, Double-White can revive two character in full-HP! Seriously, Eiko is better than Garnet, she also know Phoenix, your lifesaver.
Zidane - STEAL! There's no other better thief than Zidane, Theivery rack-up much damage and his Grand Lethal is amazing.

I'll take Ultima Weapon later. Planning to do all teh side-quests and stuff once I've seen the one I awaited so long: Necron. I liked NeoExDeath so much, and he and Necron are quite alike, so I just want to cut him into pieces, liek I did with Neo. Only difference between Necron and NEo is that NeoExDeath ahs 200 000 hp

Let's see... Zidane: Teh Tower, Steiner: Try to get Ultima Sword, or whatever it's called, Vivi: Mace of Zeus, Garnet: Tiger Racket, shouldn't be a problem.

If I can get past Nova Dragon, that is...

And about all who says I should take Eiko.
Think about it: Should I take Eiko, who's now on lv 27, or Garnet, who's already at lv 43 and has learned all the magic she can, except for the Ark summon?

You say Nova Dragon pwns you first?Hmmm...try getting your HP higher and better white magic.His attacks kickass but if your HP is high enough,you can withstand it.Heal always.A little 'I-think-this-HP-is-more-than-enough' thinking will send you downhill fast.That's why it's always advisable to put Eiko for better healing.

EDIT:WTF,your Eiko *kurt angle chant* SUCK.If that's the case,perhaps your Garnet could be better.Depending on the level,I daresay that Garnet's magic far surpasses Eiko's.But to me,the closer the character levels,the better.Too much concentration on one character(Zidane as an excption) isn't always good.

Well, now I'm gonna slaughter that Nova Dragon! Why? I just bought Excalibur Sure, one weapon doesn't mean victory, but, just let Steiner learn Stock Break from Ultima Sword first, then he can equip the Excalibur and his attack is much better. That, and he's close to Trance. I got a Black Robe for Vivi, so he can learn Flare. And I'm thinking of equiping something that can resist wind... Garnet, or Zidane already has that, even absorbs it, Vivi I can give, and Steiner just has much HP.

And I know my Eiko sucks. But I odn't care. I never really liked her. And teh Eidolons she can summon aren't all that great either. Give me Bahamut and I'm happy. But of course, I'll lv her up a bit when I want to beat the game with Zidane, Eiko, Amarant and Freya.

Oh, and if you think my Eiko is bad, Quina is lv 22, no kidding

ECIT: Dagger heals with Curaga around 2500 hp for everybody.

Equip locomotion, Grand Cross shoulden't effect you with it on.

It can inflict Death, Petrify, Doom all the bad stuff. Just put on the guards from all status things that will stop you having a go. (Jelly, Locomotion, Body Temp etc)

You shoudl learn to read, my Eiko is currently at lv 27.

Locomotion... That isn't true. I have it on Vivi and Garnet, and Grand Cross affects them just the same.

I know what it can do (I knew it freom NeoExDeath). That's not the question. It dooms me always, mini's me always or berserks me always. After about ten turns, I think I've done about 10 000 damage to Necron, due to all teh status healing I need to do. And then I forget to mention all the reviving...
I'm probably doing something wrong, bu teverybody is around lv 50, save for Steiner, who's 45 and has HP 20% equiped.
How can anybody say Necron is easy with that annoying attack called Grand Cross?

I find him easy, i always go for an all out attack, Zidane,Steiner,Freya and Amarant, i usally kill him before he get's me. If you.ve got Auto-Regen on you don't need a healer. If Necron casts Doom on someone, use a pheonix down on em. Also make sure you've got the best weapons/armour on everyone.
