The Knights of Cid are the keepers of the forum, making sure that everything stays in order while he's off pulling swords from stones or finding the Holy Grail or whatever he does. In short, they make sure that
no one everyone has fun and, more importantly, follows rules. However, despite their ardent denial of any one Knight being better than the others, you've decided which one is the Best. But before we find out, let's take a look at our contestants. Oh, and this is totally
not me sucking up to the Staff. At all. Period.
Behold the Void
Known far and wide for his writing, Behold the Void has been here for nearly three years. He plans to be a writer or journalist, and was one of the main forces in making the RP sub forum. Truly a man without peer, he plans to write a twelve page acceptance speech should he win. While he said that Leeza was the leader
earlier, he still plans to usurp her power (whatever that means). Not that being the leader is the same as being the best, I mean look at the X-Men.
Side note: Behold the Void is a Black Mage among the Knights, if the
EoFF RPG is any indication (it is).
Del Murder
As his signature states, Del is the
Unofficial Secret Illegal Enforcer of EoFF is dang proud of it. While usually found enforcing something or another, he also manages to make a living as an actuary, and is the love of Miriel's life. Having been here five years as of the 23rd of this month, Del has the experience needed to be a serious contender for this Ciddie.
eestlinc
Hailing from hatlanta, eestlinc leads a double life here at EoFF. A poet who has not shared his work with us for some time, he is also the runner of the EoFF elections, at which time he goes by his alter ego, Election Booth. Despite this, eest often shirks his duty by not banning his second account. Still, his contributions in moderating the forums allow some lee way, so it's all good.
fire_of_avalon
Often found in #eoff, foa is had, at one time, forsaken the forums for the chat room. While normally an unforgivable crime, she soon returned and redeemed herself, winning everyone over with her kind-heartedness and easy-going attitude. She is one of the very few members to have a seat in the winning party in the EoFF Elections two years in a row, and some suspect during this time she became "friendly" with Loony Bob, resulting in her Knighting. However it came about, it can be said with certainty that EoFF is better off with her as a Knight, as she may prove with this Ciddie.
Hsu
Hsu is super, what more is there to say? He can be found in the Help forum often, doing his best to aid those in need of, um, aid. Proudly proclaiming the wise old adage "bake cake get sex", Hsu is also currently in a relationship with another Knight, rubah. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Nevertheless, he stays true to EoFF, keeping the forums clean and well aided.
kikimm
If her current signature is any indication, kikimm is apparently a fan of boxes. Presumably a female, she absolutely loves Trumpet Thief. Not even a Knight for a full year yet, kikimm rose to popularity and has since been
working with Leeza, rubah, and foa to get more estrogen in the Knight's, as you can see with Miriel helping to keep EoFF running smoothly.
Side note: kikimm is apparently the
White Mage of the Knights.
Leeza
Another old Knight like Del, Leeza is seen as the matriarch of EoFF. She adores cats and Marilyn Manson, so it can be safely assumed that if she was given Manson's pet cat, she'd have a heart attack and die happily. Luckily for us, this isn't likely to happen soon, and so she can continue grace EoFF with her wisdom and discretion.
Miriel
The second most recent Knight to be promoted, Miriel has done much in the relatively short time she's had. When she's not hanging out here and moderating, Miriel dons the guise of Palindroma, fighting evil-doers with neat words like racecar and dad. She's currently hooked up with Del Murder. It's reported that, when she asked Del if he was enforcing another woman, Del replied "Enforcer? I hardly know her!", thereby giving him his Custom Title.
Necronopticous
Wait, it's time to write Necronopticous's thing? Truly!? Okay then, well, Necroctopus is not only a hard-working Knight, he is also the mastermind behind
Final Fantasy IV - "Ah, The Power of Cheese". A curious fellow, he enjoys writing poetry like eest, and proudly proclaims that the world is, indeed, Square. Necronostiosous also has the hardest-to-spell name of any current Knight, which must mean something.
Psychotic
The most recent fellow to be Knighted (like, a little over a month ago), Psy had his work cut out for him in order to get the Best Knight Ciddie. He managed to get the hang of things quickly and soon became a capable and good moderator, despite his persistent reputation as a shameless spammer, which is debatable at best now. Having won a good number of Ciddies in the past, he's out to prove that experience doesn't mean squat as long as you’re good looking.
rubah
Ahh, rubah. Knighted along with kikimm, she rounds out the Femme Five who rule over EoFF. She is also in the second in-staff relationship, with her and Hsu being the two lovebirds this time. A girl from Arkansas, she's sometimes accused of being a bit obsessive, but really, that could be said for over half of this board about FFVII alone. She hopes to win this Ciddie so she can rub it in Hsu's face.
Well, there we go. I managed to tell you all you need to know about the current Knight's in a page or two, and squeeze in some shameless advertising as well. All of that is 100% true and accurate as of me typing it, so if something’s wrong, I blame Award Guy for editing it. But anyway, as you can see, we here at EoFF have a great group of moderators and are certainly fortunate for each and every one of them. And so, let's see which one you choose as the Best CK. Award Guy?
