I need help with Jak3...
Every time I try to kill that dark precursor thing, it always kills me. Its the one after you have to find the 4 peoples in the desert. I restarted the game from the begining to see if there is something there to help me, but i didnt find anything...please help

wel, i'm not sure if its called a 'dark precursor' thingy, but thats what it looks like. its the big purple/black flying thing...
im thinking its the machine thing you run into after you find the last person dead? if it is you jus need to shoot the center of it, and jump/avoid its attacks

Umm, right at the very start? The thing that flies around and shoots lazers and that out?
Yeah, you need to jump and run and shoot. That's all you can do. Run, jump and shoot - true Jak 3 style.
When it's flying around shooting the lasers, just stay under it to avoid them. I'm pretty sure you can't hurt it when it's in the air like this anyway so don't bother shooting it now. When it stops and drives itself into the ground, make sure you're not under it and jump to avoid the shockwave. There's an extra shockwave after each time it does this so be prepared. When it's in the ground and whipping around that tentacle, just keep jumping over it while firing at it. Each time it lands in the ground it extends another tentacle to whip around and it does get harder, but if you just keep jumping in place you should get it eventually. It's really not that bad a boss.
ok? do i need the guns full or will i be good with half of the bullet thingies in each one? and which gun works best on it?
