I think it's hard to single out just one as my favourite character. I liked everyone, except for Amarant, for individual reasons: Quina for her food obsession; Eiko for her spunk; Vivi for his cuteness; Steiner for his devotion; Zidane for his courage; Freya for her mystery, and Garnet for being a true princess.

My favorite character is most arguably Vivi, because I am a big fan of the mage class in general, and Vivi is a perfect embodiment of a Black Mage; Quiet, timid, yet weilding an unmatched power.
