Yeah, he is fortunate.
I haven't been anywhere in the states except for New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and I live in New York. My parents never take me to any other new places, or a country for that matter. So, anyone who is granted the means to travel, please know how lucky you are.

For my 15th birthday, my parents bought me a stylish, new jacket. I didn't have a birthday party.

Darn right. The furthest I've been from my hometown is a forty five minute drive to Guelph. And that didn't end well.

For my 15th birthday I got some Chinese Medicine Balls and a book previously owned by my father (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). My friend came over to my house because he had just rented a movie (BASEketball) and told me I had to see it. I count this as a gift from him because we didn't have cars or bikes or whatever back then and he had to walk about 15 kilometers in the warm December sun.

Neh. That was about a month ago. I got a digital camera (I really would have prefered something simpler, but my aunts decided that I needed one) some $ to buy clothes, some pop-tarts, and a few other small food-items I can't remember right now.

I had my electric guitar for my joint birthday/Christmas present (my birthday's in December) from my parents. My best present was clearly the TARDIS money box my demented friend gave me xD

15 is grade 10. For grade 10 I probably got some video games or clothes.

At grade 10 I wasn't even a member of any internets communities. Wow.
