mine is a nickname givin' to me like 6 or 7 years ago by my brother, hes 7 years older than me and always called me shrub cause i was short and its just stuck with me and he still calls me that. ive just used it in everything from screennames ot email adresses

Butterfly Fx is a great song by one of my all time favourite metal bands called "Moonspell". I'm also fascinated by butterflies.. how they metamorphose, how complex and fragile they are. It also relates to that phenomenon known as Butterfly effect.
My screen name represents me in all my FFVIII greatness that I attained my own SeeD rank. That, and when I first joined this forum there were quite a few more Final Fantasy based names than there are now (in ratio at least), so I did the same. And Lou is short for Louis, it gives all the words of my screen name one syllable.
