Spiff: I reckon, if you made the halo whiter and less blurry (though still with a bit of blur) it'd look better. I can't think of a different character though, as I haven't actually played that many FF's. Maybe one of the ladies?

I don't really see how that one is Children of the Corn-ish. Yes, the eye ones might be a little bit freaky, but that's why I made a no-eyed version.

Here's a new version. Personally I don't like it as much as the other:
where are some good pictures of pre FFVII characters?? some people have mentioned that the lack of them is sad, but i cant seem to find any decent enough pics from VI and before that suit... i only found sprites of the characters, which isnt really the same.
also, which of the ones ive made do you think is better??
personally i like the second one better.
i think i like the 3rd one best... not sure i like the eye on the boat. also, cait sith is sort of only half visible (as in, the mog part)... i realise theres not much room there to work with though.Sooo I have four options then.

in general i like the style, but i also think it could be a bit darker blue.

WOW. What an amazingly high amount of participation. I'm so pleased.
In those two (for me at least) there's a kind of strip of "not quite right-ness". It appears just below the eye, and finish around the bottom of FINAL FANTASY. It might just be something for me, but the other 2 you posted didn't have it.
I used Cloud mainly because of the swords crossing thing, so I don't really want to use any other images.
You can see it better with the text like that.
Well, if it doesn't look right, I could always try something different, maybe...
