Male pandas are really mean to other male pandas in their territory. They can run really fast (surprising I know) and be really vicious. Luckily, pandas are also cowards, so tend to run if another panda runs at it. When I found that out it made them soooo much cuter to me

EDIT: Damn, bipper GOEt there before me.

See someone drown in glass, it is possible since glass is technically a very slow liquid.

The new school of thought actually is going to be adding 1 state: Solid, liquid, gas, and glass. Glass can be made out of most matter from what I understand. It just so happens that sand and other mineral make glass feasably more sturcture at normal temature. This was linked off slashdot a while back.

Therefore, glass is really not a liquid or a solid; nor is it simply transitional. It is a state that developes its own tendancies.

I'd love to go to a School of Thought.

Technically glass is just a highly viscous liquid.

Cant really say it is a liquid; it displays both properties. It does not really 'flow' at all. The misconseption is from the way that glass was made in olden days, where it was thrown on a spinning mason and spun down into sheets. IT wa then cut into chunks, and with centripetal force, the outer rims of this circle would be thiner when the glass began to solidify. This made the sheets of glass thicker at the bottom. Engineers then put the thick end down (duh) when it was put in buildings. Later, when the buildings were tore down, the logical thought was that the glass actually 'leaked' slowly over the years. Not so much.

I have yet to really see why one would consider a glass more liquidous than solid. The molecular structer is so much closer to solid than anything else. Though, this is like saying that liquid is solidified gass - you can very well be correct, but it most certainly does not make liquid a solid alone. *boggles*

Most scientists agree that it is a highly viscous liquid. I'm just the messenger, personally I think it is one of the many wonders of the universe, and we shouldn't even try to understand the wonders and mysteries of the universe.

Highly viscous liquid, amorphous solid, who knows?

I did once read something about super-solids. Solids that, at veyr low temperatures, can pass through other solids. Must try and find info on that.
