I'm a bit nearsighted, so I wear glasses if I need to read anything that's not directly in front of me, like the white board or street signs, or sometimes the computer screen when my eyes already hurt.

i have them on because i'm near-sighted. i can read books without glasses and everything, but sometimes i still wear them anyway. i probably had them since 1998 or 1999.

I've worn glasses since I was 6. I can see quite well without them since I'm long sighted in only one eye, but it feels weird and things don't stay still.

I always lose my glasses, last time I lost them was in the sea on holiday in France! I should switch to contacts but I really like my glasses (I have worn them since I was 18 months)

I have been wearing glasses permanently since I was eight. I'm currently wearing a pair with 550 for left and 650 for right. Scary? Yeah, if I take them off this instant, I won't even be able to see my keyboard clearly.

I'm supposed to but I don't. I broke them a few months back and haven't bothered to fix them. I'm going to be blind when I grow up.

As for me, I wear contacts, but have to take them out after 14 hours (ie, each night). I wear glasses when I get home as they're easier on my eyes and generally less hassle.

No, I don't have glasses, but I think I will in the future... I am the only one in my family that dosn't wear glasses. My parents, uncles, aunts, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews all have glasses. Can't remember if any of my cousins have glasses, though.
