Thread: Ice cream headache or Brain Freeze

  1. #1

Default Ice cream headache or Brain Freeze

now this is a silly thread but i thought i would do it anyway

how many of you say i have got a brain freeze when you eat something really cold then you get that cold feeling on your head?

I say ice cream headache because you only get it when you eat ice cream really when I went to a BBQ round one of mates we got quite drunk and we were arguing what was right everyone seemed to agree with him that brain freeze was the proper term but I would find that really weird saying that!

so vote for what you would say ha ha

Since I get it whenever I eat something cold too fast, ice cream or otherwise, I call it a brain freeze.
Boy am I an unfunny ass.

It is unconfortable, yes, but there are worse things and they can last a lot longer. A bee sting for instance

I once sucked up at LEAST 25% of a MAcDonald's Milkshake once, it was delicious....but the brain freeze went on for a good 5 minutes or so.

So brain freeze, because you don't JUST get it from ice cream.

Brain freeze is horrible. I always end up pushing my hand against my head to ease the pain.

    It never works

Put your tongue to the roof of your mouth or, if you have any near by, drink room temp water or warmer. Gets rid of it pretty quick usually.

Am I the only one that thinks Brain Freezes feel really smurfing good? I love these things. I am being serious in this post.

There's something about the way it just completely overrides every other thought and feeling. You're whole focus is suddenly tranferred to the cooling part of your head.

And then your eyes seem to turn inward. And then the chill is lifted, and there is the best feeling in the entire smurfing world. That's why I love them. It's for that fleeting moment to which they are fading, where your head is still reeling and cold, but warming, and your senses once again become ordered and relevant.

    Brain freeze.

Harry: "I taste's so good. I can't feel my face."
Lloyd: "Harry, my mouth is frozen. I can't... I can't feel my lips. Harry they're frozen."
    Lloyd: "(Slaps him)"
    Harry: "Didn't hurt."
    Lloyd: "(Slaps him)"
    Harry: "Didn't hurt."
    Lloyd: "(Slaps him)"
    Harry: "I felt that."
