Do you play on any of your old consoles or do you quickly package them away to make room for all your new system goodness?

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
The only console I ever packed away was the PS1 because the PS2 made it obsolete. All my old systems are still where they've always been. Just this past month I played my N64 and PS2. I started up the GameCube last October, and let's face it. If I'm not boxing up the GameCube I'm not boxing up anything.
I sold (almost) my entire gaming collection a while back due to disuse, so I suspect I largely ignore my older consoles. Though, amusingly enough, my PS2 sees FAR more use than my PS3. :/
i play like literary every console i own. the oldest i have is sega mega drive (genesis)
I have all my console on display in my living room. Even the PS1, because my modded PS2 can't read patched PS1 games, while my modded PS1 can.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
When I had more space and more money, yes. I'd routinely play on my SNES and other systems like the Saturn. Now I don't have any of that stuff anymore and my oldest console is my PS2, which doesn't get used because I don't have a way to hook it up to my monitor (I don't have a TV)
Xenogears is the tragic story of how your whole life can take a crappy turn, just because you happened to see a lady in a wedding dress before her wedding.

My NES still has a prominent spot in my room. Sometimes I'll switch out the SNES and Gensesis, but those systems are a bit shotty in how well they work now. I also play my TurboGrafx Express occasionally (the main console has stopped working).
The older console I own is a PS2. And I play it often.
More often than current gen unless you count PC gaming.
...
I play my gameboy color and gamecube pretty frequently. I don't have any systems older than that, though I'd like to.
I play almost exclusively old games these days, but I emulate them because of laziness.
