Regardless of how you feel about the game's summon system, did you beat every Esper and thus acquire them all?

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I did. Even though I didn't find them too useful, I found them to be pretty cool & had pretty cool backstories.
I ran into one by accident when looking for a hunt once. its the only one besides the storyline ones I've managed to get.
"Pretty mysterious Neptune of gameindustry, in the name of the Basilicom I'll punish you!"
Yep, absolutely. I also ran across Adrammalech unexpectedly the first time and it blew my mind. That mechanic of being able to just stumble into optional boss fights is awesome.
Not all of them. I got them at first but after trying them several times and seeing how useless they were I said forget it.
Sure did. It was a heck of a lot of work for an amateurish gamer like me, and I did use walkthroughs to navigate some of the more esoteric puzzles along the way, but I did eventually obtain every Esper and defeat every superboss.
I did too. I still never actually summoned one outside of for opening Giruvegan's gate, but I DID go for Order of Ambrosia. Zodiark's Final Eclipse could probably be pretty useful, but then again spamming it is just TOO powerful.
Yep! It was a trial and a half. xD
Zodiark is legitimately one of the most difficult bosses in the series. Anyone whining about how easy and dumb the battle system is in XII has probably never fought him.
No. I did sink a lot of time into the extra content this game offered, but did not have the time to get all the Espers. Last think I remember doing was failing at the second Gilgamesh fight.
