"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
I hated the original, but this looks so bad, yet hilarious. Looks like a good movie to gather some friends with and have a giggle, but not see the cinemas.
The amount of product placement in just the trailer alone is pretty damn cynical.
I haven't seen the original forever, I should watch it again. I used to work with a guy who was an extra in it when he was a kid, I guess a lot of the town stuff was filmed in a town about an hour from my hometown.
As for remakes and/or sequels twenty years after the original, I dunno I'm never very excited for remakes/sequels of things I loved when I was a kid, ie Ghostbusters, Transformers and GI Joe.

It's not a remake
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
I was apprehensive at first when I heard they were going to make this. But I read an interview with The Rock and he said they want to do right by Robin Williams and make sure they honor his legacy and that character. I suspect there will be some sort of homage in the movie.
I'm willing to give it a chance. I like the cast and the trailer looks fun.
That looks horrible compared to the original one. HAHA Don't want it to ruin my love for the 90's classic movie, so I'll definitely not putting this on my bucketlist. lol

Ugh. I hate Jumanji.
That said. I'll watch this silly thing if it pops up on Netflix.
Never before have I seen a trailer for a movie with this many actors I like in it and yet I was left with no desire to watch it.
I liked the original Jumanji. This just looks very lame and lazy and connected to the original in name alone.
Huh, this actually turned out to be a decent film. Nothing amazing but the four leads are all pretty funny (even Kevin Hart).
And it turns out people were happy to watch a Jumanji sequel after all, it's raking it in!
