Thread: Who actually finished this game?

    To finalfantasyguy4ever:

You probably missed using Gravity on the crumbled inn. You must do this after using Thunder on the cactus. Then continue with the fire on the mushroom and the blizzard on the three stones (I think you have to hit them from smallest to largest) and finally use holy on the strange flower, found on the left side of the stage. And all these events are in the beginning scene. If the screen turns black, then you know you have to go back.

I almost finished this game ( played solo) but decided it wasn't worth replaying again when my little brother erased it on th ememory card.

Oh yah i thought it was bull crpa that you had to have a gba and final fantast crystal chronicels. Well I had a gba and that wasn't enought then you had to spen 10 more bucks just to link it up to the GC. So in the end this was a very expensive game to play multiplayer.

cage of bones...? I think you mean the crumbled inn. Other than that, don't bother with any bones.

as for the flower...go to the left side of the screen, until you hit the wall. continue up and down that side until you see the flower. I'm sure you won't miss it, 'cause it strange and exotic. use holy on it. it's actually on the wall. not in the sand a little bit away from the wall.

now watch as the flower becomes the pedestal where you put the myrrh container and change it's element.

I almost did, but no matter what we did we couldn't kill that final boss... Maybe I'll bother to train my guys when I can be assed and do it.. But i've lost the motivation.

I finished the game... but not alone. See I have siblings, one brother and a sister, and we tend to enjoy playing games like this. The only down side is I'm generally relegated to mage/hold bosses attention. I personally have never dealt the deathblow as I normally die reviving the person who deals the deathblow.
Pray, Heal, Influence with Giant Hammer.... This is how white mages get their work done. You all didn't think those red triangles on my robe are there for good looks did you?

Haha. That TOTALLY reminds me of back in the day when I played Secret of Mana with my brother. I'd totally be the Sprite or boy and stick him as the girl (so I could kick ass with the spells and he'd do all the healing and all that and die when things got tough)

Whenever me and my friends played, I too was always the healer.

That way, you can shout at everyone and tell them what to do, because you have have the most important job...

(seriously though, I always say no whenever they wanna play this game, it always degrades into arguments)

After reading this thread, I picked it up and had another go in single-player. Am three dungeons away from fighting Raem.

I won the game single player. I didn't play multiplayer until after that actually (only had one link cable until I finally went out and bought some more afterwards). I didn't find single player that hard though actually. I had a harder time with multiplayer (I'd play with people, they'd get set on fire and run off with the chalice or something dumb like that and leave me to die in the miasma X_X). Now that I think about it though, I generally was relegated to healer/distraction too. Being the distraction is no fun (I got pretty good at dodging though, so I...gained a skill?).

Hard, but fun. I've only played that game on my own but I loved it! Bloody last boss... sooooo annoying!

But it's been ages so I don't remember much apart from that annoying last boss!! (SPOILER)You only do 1 damage on it everytime you hit it no matter what!

Did you try (SPOILER)casting cure on the memories of your family in the little bubbles and then using the magicite that appeared? I found that out entirely by accident (I actually meant to cure myself), but it makes the battle quite easier. If it was eluded to somewhere, I missed it (I've never waited for (SPOILER)all the Carbuncles in Mag Mell to wake up so I don't know if any of them tell you about that and they are the only ones I can think of that would give you a hint, aside from Mio [which, if she did so, I did not decipher it]).

Isn't that what you're supposed to do?(SPOILER) Maybe I'm just extremely curious... cause I saw my family floating around and according to FF law.... that would make them ghost/undead. So... reflex is to spam cure... As a matter of fact... I still owe a lot of level 70s a beatdown for not knowing that in FF11...
