No, water is not bloody tastier than bloody soda is. Healthier yes, but since when is itto put health before pleasure? Everyone needs to INITIATE HuxDDD and get ha'co' again.
That said, diet stuff doesn't tend to bother me much. It usually tastes more metallic, which is a good thing.

diet cherry coke is nice, I'd choose it over water. although I'm limiting myself on like one or two bottles a week. It's fine. Not gonna hurt you.
Diet Coke all together is turd.
It makes me feel bad in he mouth for hours after a single can. Coke Zero has a small difference to coke taste wise though.
I like Diet Pepsi, basically because a friend and I would share one at lunch, so I just got use to the taste. Diet Coca-cola tastes like water though
