I'm Posting this Thread here instead of Eyes On Each Other as I already have a few on-going Threads there (with more to come! I found some pretty interesting stuff the other day which could be good discussion-fodder).

Anyway, topic of this Thread is: Do you ever wonder if your boy/girl friend is really into you? Or... say you are at the stage where you are dating someone but not quite boy/girl friend. Do you ever think to yourself,

'Are they really interested in me? Do they really like me? Why are they with me? Am I doing something wrong? Are they with me because they want to be with me, or because they have no one else to be with?'

Or do you have absolute, complete trust in the other person and believe what they say?

And for those singletons... have you ever had that yourselves in the past? (though of course, if you had doubts, it might be why you ended up kaputing the lovey-dovey relationship...)

I'm just asking because, well... I get doubts sometimes too about things. So I was just wondering if others feel the same?

I would think that the more time you spend in a relationship with that person, the less you feel that way - if indeed you ever doubted them in the first place. You just have to accept! And really thinking that someone is only with you cause there's no one else is silly. That's taking it a bit too far. And not having the doubts should make things so much easier and blah blah blah obvious stuff

Janice, I apologize to you if I don't seem real eager to jump into a forced awkward intimate situation that people like to call dating. I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm getting, I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door cause then it's awkward, it's like well goodnight. Do you do like that ass-out hug? Where you like, you hug each other like this and your ass sticks out cause you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss them on the lips or don't kiss them at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation. And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels. Or, ouch, ouch you're on my hair.
