The lyrics from Rites of Spring are almost identical to those of Hawthorne Heights. They're whiny and suicidal.

They don't shut up. All they do is sing to be pity whores and cut their wrists. And if you actually READ the Hawthorne Heights lyrics, it's pretty smurfing obvious that they're going through some emotional stuff.
