No woman can have a baby without sperm. An I'm sure their not that hideous that somebody wouldn't be willing to impregnate them the natural way.
Well, sometimes it is because the man they are with may be infertile and can't impregnate them, hence the reason why they ask for a sperm donor. Which is why I wanna help out. Its not about finding a man. Its about their current partner not being able to make them pregnant,

THAT'S what I really wanna know! What effect does it have on the children? And what rights does a Sperm Donor have to his children? I sure wouldn't mind meeting my kiddies someday!
First off, you are going about this all wrong. You need to ask an actual authority on the subject firsthand and get a rundown on all of the correct information. Go into a clinic and ask to see the paperwork that you have to fill out. And ask if you can view the documents that the mother has to fill out in order to get the donated sperm.

As far as I know, you have no obligations towards the child. I am sure there are waivers signed to prevent the mother from getting child support from the sperm donated, but that is just an assumption based on logic.

As far as the psychological effect that the information would bring onto a child, that is entirely unknown to anyone. People react to information in incredibly different ways based on a variety of different factors. Least of which are how their parents react to situations. The enviroment in which the child grows up in and the ways they are raised, influences in a persons life, those are the sorts of things that influence a reaction such as the one you are asking about.

Also take note that just because you are a supposedly beautiful and intelligent human being, that does not mean the child will be. You must take into account that the mother is going to provide half of the genes that the child will get, and perhaps the number will be higher depending on certain circumstances. Some people look more like one parent, or take more after one parent, than other children do.

Also, having contact with the child would probably be entirely up to the mother until the child has reached the age of adulthood. Then, and only if the child found out through whatever means, would they be able to decide whether or not they want to meet you. I do not think you are privy to any information on the mother, child, or condition of your sperm.

Oh, and even if this limit of 10 does exist, there are always the chance of multiple babies being born. Twins, triplets, quadruplets! Woohoo.

I think it's sweet of you, DevilMan, to do something like this I'd never donate my eggs though, 'cause even though it'd be a good contribution...it'd just be too weird for me if one day I saw a little boy or girl walking around that looked like me and wasn't my own kid...O.o Therefore, my eggs remain for only my husband to make into babies

Then they should adopt instead, because the baby is not going to be their full child anyway.

For some women, the urge to have a child is extremely strong. Extremely, extremely strong. The urge to have a biological child that is. They want to experience child-birth and they want to grow a life inside themselves.

And a sperm donor allows them to do that, while still loving their husband/partner. Adoption isn't always the answer.

An the child that grows inside them, may not want a total stranger for a father. If their so concerned with the child being genetically related to them, they should understand that the child may want a father around that their genetically related to. Perhaps they should concern themselves with that, an the many children that are in great need of somebody to take care of them, that they could offer a home to.

Well... yeah, I guess. Thats why I was wondering if Sperm Donors have any rights to their potential kiddies. I sure wouldn't mind seeing my little kids in the future. But at the same time, some children are more then happy with the father who raises them and, well, acts as a father, instead of one who is just biological.

    But I still wanna donate.

The chance for a good-looking offspring is certainly much higher with one good and one bad looking parent, than with two bad looking parents!

They're so picky though with sperm donors. Mothers are really picky with IQ, appearance, qualities, etc so they can have the best baby. So good luck with that.

IQ is a terribly hard thing to measure, is it even proved that the intelligence of the offspring varies a lot depending on the parents? The brain is like a muscle, it gets smart from practice :p.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT HIS HOLY DON'T DO IT!

Anyway, the #1 characteristic that determined the demand for sperm is height. If you're less than 6'0" your sperm'll sit in the freezer.
