This is Rye, presenting Best Cid's Knight.
As everyone knows, one does not simplywalk into Mordorask to become a Cid's Knight; it's something that you need to be recognized and selected for. Unless you provide sexual favors... but that's another story. Anyway, each Cid's Knight was selected for possessing all sorts of skills or qualities that are admired in a forum moderator on Eyes On Final Fantasy, such as responsibility, good judgment, regular posting and a generally clean record among other things. But of course, those are just base qualities, and our Cid Knight's deviate from those quite a bit with their quirks that we love them for (who could love a moderating robot, anyway?! ... well, except for clout <3), along with what they do for us.
And they surely do help us a lot. Our crazy shinra are the metaphoric mommies of the fora, protecting the little'uns from the bullies, resolving conflicts (he's making fun of my post! ;_; ), helping us with our wardrobe (your signature is too big and it causes seizures *snip*), covering our eyes during the naughty parts of the movies (you can't post that snow penis! *ban* *snip*) and... well, I'd say that they kiss our boo-boos, but I think most of the Cid Knights' mouthes are too busy for that... ewwww!
But off of THAT horrid subject, let me give a description of each of our CKs as to rejolt your memory about why we love (or HATE) each of them so much.
Behold the Void
Our first possible winner of this award, Behold the Void is a very quiet, polite but efficient Cid's Knight and a hard worker. He's very well known for his writing skills, and I've had the good fortune to see them for myself through working in the EoFF Post. He's very helpful and skilled with video games, and he's very knowledgeble in anime, and in general.
Del Murder
It seems that for me that Del Murder has always been at EoFF, it surprises me that he joined on a year before I did. Del seems to be very much a behind the scenes type of moderator, so I'll comment more on the person behind the blue custom title. He was mostly known for being part of the Spam Brigade, supposedly looking like Ben Stiller, and making various witty comments by the oldbies, but now he's known for many things with his fellow Cid's Knight girlfriend, Miriel, such as only letting his feet be seen on the message board and being a sweet boyfriend. He also works on the EoFF Post too as the jumbler, so he does a lot for the EoFF community.

Though our dear elsie has been inactive as of late, he is still loved by many people and considered an excellent Cid's Knight. When he is active, he's not only a very fast-acting and witty member, but a kind and intelligent one. One small example of the type of moderator elsie was a time when someone posted a birthday thread for themself, upset that no one made one for them, so he merged a thread to make it look like the thread was made for them, to cheer her up and to be sweet.
fire_of_avalon
Firey firey foa is one of the more active and up front moderators these days among the fora (fora foa!) She's known as a very vivacious and funny woman, and she's incredibly fun to talk to in #eoff and especially in #tot (;D ;D). As a Cid's Knight, she's good at keeping people in line, especially in the Eyes On Each Other forum. She has a very strong personality that makes people flock to her and admire her.
Hsu
The first half of Hsubah, Hsu is a very technically savvy and helpful member. I always see him helping in the Help Forum, if he's not on #eoff chatting with his girlfriend and fellow CK, rubah. Hsu used to have a nipple pinching avatar that was stolen by some guy! All in all, Hsu is a very helpful guy.
kikimm
The usernote princess, kikimm seems to be very much behind the scenes moderation-wise, though I hear horror stories from my friends about how hateful and angry she is. But I think that's slander and lies, because kikimm seems very chilled and laid-back, especially from what I've seen from old forums made by Psychotic. Though she does supposedly have a few fetishes. Anyway, back to EoFF... I don't see her often upfront with her moderating, but this one time, she totally told off some member in the best way possible, and it was amazing.
Levian
One of the newest Cid's Knights, this crazy viking has definitely caught up to older CKs in moderating activity, between closing threads, editting posts, and fixing signatures. I'm sure no one expected his knighting, but it as an excellent choice, because he's one of the most effective Cid's Knights lately. And not only that, he's really funny and has the love of many members. He's one of the new generation of Cid Knight's.
[And this kind of has nothing to do with this award, but he's my teacher of Norwegian words. Thanks to Levian, I have the Norwegian vocabulary of a pornobaron (Norwegian for porn baron!) Squeee!]
Miriel
Miriel is also one of the newer Cid Knight's, knighted a little before Psychotic, a quite a bit before Levian, much to his dismay at Miriel always beating her at the internet! Miriel is an all around very efficient Cid's Knight who does the general menial CK work like editting posts and signatures and such. She manages to do that while balancing her wedding photography business and her hobby of loving puppies, cuddling Tony, and taking photos of their food. She seems to be the moral compass of the Cid Knights, and many people love her and appreciate her for that.
Necronopticous
Necronopticous is one of the more mysterious and low-key Cid's Knights, but he seems to be more of a relaxed live and let live moderator like RSL was when he was on staff. Necronopticous is an extraordinarily talented MS Paint artist and a kind person in general who has helped me out with my own art and photography. He is also very game savvy and helps people with video games as well. He's unusual in that he wears red nail polish painted on by some girl and that he has an affair from Marshall Banana with Kishi, but we all love him for that.
Psychotic
It's almost shocking to feel as if Psychotic has always been on the staff, because just a few years ago, he was the unofficial BAoTW leader, master spammer, and mortal enemy of Loony BoB, and look now! Now he's one of the more harder working and upfront Cid Knight's of the fora. That is, between posting in usernotes! His humor was definitely not lost during his transition from spammer to Cid's Knight, however, as you can clearly see in his posts, so many a member look up to him as their favorite CK.
rubah
The second half of Hsubah, rubah is one of the sweeter CK's and has amassed many friends and fans from #eoff. She works hard as a Cid's Knight, but she also works very hard as an artist, ranging from watercolor, dolling, and tablet art, among other things. She is the very affectionate girlfriend of Hsu, and with their powers combined, Hsubah is one of the CK couples.
Zeromus_X
The newest Cid's Knight! What sets him out is that he is one of the most pure moderators (I thought it was cute that he doesn't know Bley's Crotch <3 xD), so he has a very fresh moderating style. He works very hard at what he does as a moderator, and is very helpful in the Gaming Forum, which is where he was watched mostly and asked to be a Cid's Knight, supposedly. I think his very positive fresh posting style has attracted the support of many members.
